India's largest Corporate house Reliance Industries closed 5 of its 7 plants at Mumbai. Over 1800 employees laid off.

Some time ago Reliance also shut down its Reliance Petrol Pumps and there is very likely possibility that Reliance Fresh Stores may see shutdown very soon.

Reliance Mega Mall is now operating at 1/3'd utilization of floor space on S. G. Road Ahmedabad.

There is also insider information that Jamnagar Refinery has cut production and Ahmedabad Textile Division is planning few layoffs.

Exam time and my 9 year old was mumbling is his sleep at 2:00 AM : "Past Participle..Adjective..." It really took me by shock.  It was exam time "First Test"

Why would such a lovely kids be put through so much of exam torture? There are weekly tests, first test, second test, annual exams and fierce competition.  I don't think children should be put through this.  A solid education foundation like increasing their thinking abilities and encouraging for open dialogues would be a better solution rather than having them mug up certain things for exams.
